Dr. Eric Langman
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Dr. Eric Langman is a co-founder and CEO of QFactory. He received his PhD from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he specialized in the design, simulation, and fabrication of silicon nitride optomechanical systems.
Following his doctoral research, Eric joined the Quantum Optomechanics Group at the Niels Bohr Institute as a postdoctoral researcher, where he developed high-performance mechanical resonators for a wide range of quantum and sensing applications.
With extensive expertise in ultra-high-Q mechanical systems, nanofabrication, and device engineering, Eric leads QFactory's commercial strategy and technology development, helping bridge cutting-edge research with real-world applications.
Prof. Dr. Albert Schliesser
Chief Scientific Officer (CSO)
Prof. Dr. Albert Schliesser is a co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of QFactory and an internationally recognized leader in quantum optomechanics.
As head of the Quantum Optomechanics Group at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, Albert pioneered the development of ultra-coherent mechanical devices and led groundbreaking research in the quantum measurement and control of mechanical systems.
His work has resulted in more than twenty publications in leading scientific journals, including Science and the Nature family of journals, alongside numerous patents that continue to shape the field of quantum technologies.
At QFactory, Albert guides the company's scientific vision, ensuring that its technologies remain at the forefront of innovation while translating cutting-edge research into practical solutions for researchers and industry worldwide.
Denise Puglia
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Dr. Denise Puglia is the CTO of QFactory, where she combines her expertise in quantum technologies and MEMS to translate cutting-edge research into scalable products with real-world impact.
Denise holds a Master's degree from Copenhagen University specializing in Majorana-based quantum computing and a PhD from the Institute of Science and Technology Austria focused on the development of membrane-based capacitive sensors.
After completing her studies, she joined Bosch as a MEMS Development Engineer, contributing to the fabrication and industrialization of advanced MEMS technologies.
